I am a Business Ownership Coach and a franchise partner with TES (The Entrepreneur’s Source). TES is almost 40 years young, headquartered in Connecticut and we have approx. 250 franchisee coach partners throughout the US and Canada. . We are not brokers, we do not sell businesses and we do not charge for our services; our role is similar to that of an Executive Recruiter. Our clients are typically at a crossroads looking for a change in either their career or investment strategy or both. We provide the process, contacts and training to help them assess whether business ownership could be a viable option. We help them define their income, lifestyle, wealth and equity goals and using those as criteria, we identify businesses capable of delivering their desired outcomes. We specialize in franchise businesses because for people that have never been in business before, they offer the greatest opportunity for success.

I am a computer Science graduate and bring over 30 years of senior management, mentoring, coaching and parenting experience to my practice. I graduated from the E-Source Academy, an intense and rigorous coaching, franchising and self employment training program. I have dedicated the past 14 years to coaching people that are curious about business ownership but for a myriad of reasons they never gave themselves permission to either go forward or put it out their minds. Sometimes having someone on your side that ‘gets’ the itch and doesn’t try to talk you out of it, helps people commit to learn.

After a successful 25 year career with a premier national retail franchisor, I took early retirement to pursue my dream of business ownership. A former colleague of mine became a TES franchisee and asked me if I was interested in learning about business ownership. With his coaching, I investigated a few businesses but TES was the one that offered the role, the lifestyle and the return on investment I was looking for. 14 years later here I am offering the same discovery process to my clients and enjoying it more every year. Business ownership is not for everyone and many people do not go forward but all of the folks I have worked with, regardless of outcome can say they spent the time, did the research and due diligence and achieved a point of clarity. They made their choice based on facts not assumptions and/or opinions. No more ‘coulda’ ‘shoulda’ second guessing.
